Years ago a mom could safely shove her kids out the front door for a couple of hours to play w/the neighborhood children & not worry about them. The rumbling of the kid's stomachs world usually remind them it was time to stop & come home for dinner.
A mom often gives so much that she can soon give out.
& there were seasons when our "sacred romance" suffered,
but God doesn't keep a stopwatch or calendar.
It's all about relationship.
When you seek him first each day, he'll keep your heart soft & your spot warm until you return again.
And w/HIM, it's always a safe place to be.
Pray dates should include this request:
"Lord, help my children never outgrow their need for YOU!"
